Porcelain is made by hand on the potter’s wheel, one piece at a time. While I
make every effort to make things come out in sets, (the span of my left hand,
thumb to pinky, is exactly nine inches) I’m only human. I use a gas kiln that I
adjust by hand according to the sound of the burners and the color of the
flame, which is all to say that some variation in size, shape and color is to
be expected. This, of course, is the whole point of handmade pottery in a world
of machines.
All shapes are available in all glazes, and orders for things that are not in
stock are done in six to eight weeks.
