A nice fellow up the hill gave me a pile of nicely seasoned apple wood. I burned it to keep warm and then scooped the ashes out of the stove and ran them through a wet sieve. Then I added a box of rare Albany Slip I got from an old friend. Still a few of these left, a glaze that will never come again.
